Is the open source runtime really free?
Yes. The ElectriPy runtime — all 9 LSAS layers — is MIT licensed. There are no usage limits, no telemetry requirements, and no paid tiers for the runtime itself.
What does ElectriPy Cloud add?
ElectriPy Cloud is the managed operational layer: trace storage, policy management console, cost analytics, evaluation dashboards, and team access controls. The runtime itself remains open source.
When will Cloud pricing be announced?
We are targeting an early access preview later this year. Pricing will be announced alongside the preview. Sign up at the Cloud page for early notification.
Can I use ElectriPy Cloud with my own trace storage?
The runtime exports standard OTEL data, so you can direct traces to any OTEL-compatible backend. ElectriPy Cloud is our managed option, not a requirement.
Is there a free tier for ElectriPy Cloud?
Yes. We plan to offer a free tier for small teams and individual developers, consistent with our open source commitment.
